Family House Warming Party Game Ideas. So you have send out your invitations, great! Now it is time to start planning a house warming party that your family and friends will love. Why not try some of our game suggestions to keep your guests entertained and create new fun memories to start out life in your new home.

1. How Good Is Your Memory?

Why not test your guests memory by taking them into a room in your new home, giving them 60 seconds to look around and take in their surroundings. When time is up take them into another room and separate them into teams. Ask them specific questions about the room for example, “What colour is the middle cushion on the sofa” or “How many pictures are on the wall” you can make the questions as easy or as hard as you want. The team with the best memory wins!

2. Open Sesame

For this game you will need to source a bunch of keys and put them into separate bowls. Split your guests into teams and give them a bowl each. Tell them that one of the keys in the bowl will unlock the door they are standing in front of, the aim of the game is to try all the keys and unlock the door before the other teams.

4. Scavenger Hunt

This is a nice and more interesting way to show off your new home. Hide items and clues throughout your house, give each team a list of the things they need to find, the team that figures out the clues and finds all the items on the list first is the winner.
