Our history
RSS was formed in 1991, initially based in Edinburgh. The company’s aims were to provide excellent levels of customer service in the removals and storage business to both private and business customers in the Lothian area.
Over the early years as the company grew, our customer base expanded to include some of Scotlands large legal, financial and oil exploration firms, where RSS supply removals services on a regular basis, to meet the needs of expansion and changes in this sector.
Membership of the industry trade association British Association of Removers (BAR) was achieved and in 1998. RSS were one of the first to become British Standards accredited for our Removal services, (BS EN 12522) and in 2009 we achieved the same standard for our commercial/office removals division (BS 8522).
One of the most important aspects of our quality systems relates to our employees. RSS have a commitment to employing only full time permanent staff and this has contributed greatly to the development of the business. We have high levels of recommendations for our domestic house moving service and have many repeat customers for our office removals services.
