Edinburgh Santa Run 2018

Get into the festive spirit and raise money for an important cause with the annual spectacle – the Edinburgh Santa Run. Every year in early December, West Princes Street Gardens fills with a sea of red outfits and white beards as hundreds of Santas big and small limber up to take part in the event. You can walk, run or jog around the short fun run, and all money raised goes to the When You Wish Upon A Star charity for sick children.

You’ll get a free Santa suit and medal for taking part, and little ones get their very own elf hat to keep. There are prizes for best-dressed pushchair and best-dressed dog too. What better way to kick off that warm, festive glow?
